Born in 1972 in Maribor (Slovenia), Tamara Vodopivec has a degree in art history and had worked until recently in the field of cultural heritage preservation. Since 1997 she has also been actively involved in photography. Today she lives and works in Moscow.    

To date Tamara Vodopivec has introduced her work at several exhibitions, which were primarily focused on the female nude as an aesthetic and erotic object set in various environments including untamed nature and desolated industrial landscapes. She also explores abstract photography and computer manipulation.
